Friday Fitness: At Home Workout to help you Tune-In

***Always Consult a Healthcare Provider & Your Own Intuition Prior to Performing any Exercise or Exercise Routine. One size does NOT fit all in fitness, and quality ALWAYS exceeds quantity!***

Gyms are closed again, but there's so much you can do at home. Slow and controlled movements are not only amazing for your body, they're great at helping you really tune-in to how you're moving. Here's a workout that you can do with minimal to no equipment.

Warmup

Supine 90/90 Diaphragmatic Breathing

Standing Hip CARs

1/2 Kneeling Pullaparts

Lunges with T-Spine Rotation

Toe CARs

Resistance

Pushups (or Modified Pushups)

Reverse Step-Downs

TRX (Bedsheet) Incline Row

Wall Assisted SL RDL

Cooldown

Movement Flow- Take your shoes/socks off (in nature, if possible), put on some music that feeds your soul, and move intuitively. Best if you can do this in a place where you can move without fear of judgment, but, if not, challenge yourself to move with your own flow without letting the energy of others influence you.

NOTE: One of these days I will get around to making my own video exercise library that efficiently explain info. and also represent people from all backgrounds, but, for now, I have slim pickings on the web to choose from.

Email me for any questions or modifications. If you do the workout, feel free to film any exercises and send it my way if you want an outside look on your form.

And, remember- quality over quantity- tune in to yourself, and move with intention.
